Encourage more meaningful engagement between parents and children. Parent involvement extends teaching outside of the classroom, and will allow your child to build a positive relationship with learning.

Develop and improve handwriting, reading and spelling skills. Perfecting these skills not only aids the ability to recall and remember information, but these skills allow for more success academically later on.

A safety activity book for kids.

The “Be Safe” activity book is designed to help children practice both their writing and language skills, as well as encouraging the memorization of crucial information. This is information that will allow your child to help keep themselves safe in situations where they are apart from their grown-ups. The “Be Safe” activity book encourages parents and children to engage with one another while discussing hard, but important topics.

“Be Safe” comes with; 2 LAMINATED FRONT & BACK COVER Pages, TITLE/DISCUSSION Pages and lots of ACTIVITY PAGES (including BLANK ACTIVITY PAGES to encourage child-led practicing)

BE SAFE Activity Book - 1st & 2nd Edition

Both the 1st Edition and 2nd Edition of BE SAFE Activity Book are both the same when it comes to content. The difference between the two comes down to one thing; The 1st Edition is laminated which makes it completely reusable, and the 2nd Edition is not laminated, making it a single use book. Each activity in this book comes with one page of each of the templates below PER activity. as well as blank pages for independent learning and brainstorming activities.

The 3rd Edition of BE SAFE Activity Book is more condensed. It is less repetitive and is recommended for children who already have some kind of basic handwriting and reading skills. You get to choose one of the templates below that you believe your child would benefit from the most.

Who We Are

My name is Alessandria and I am a 19 year old university student with 2 kids under 2! I'm attending university to get a bachelors degree in English.

In March 2023, I began the process of creating a line of activity books. Lots of work, time and effort went into this project to ensure that I create the perfect product. Which has now brought you here!

My INSPIRATION

When I was trying to come up with ideas for a business, I constantly felt like I was getting no where. Everything I came up with was either boring and simple, or it was unoriginal (according to the 500+ google results I got when looking for similar products.) I realized I had to change my thinking process. The whole time I was in the parent mindset; thinking of ways and things that could benefit a parent. Instead, I began to think of what would benefit a child.

Growing up, my grandma always made a point to talk to us about safety. For example, on car rides from school she would have me repeat our home address and my parents phone numbers over and over. She also had me memorize the license plate on her car (to this day, I will find myself randomly repeating it to myself while completing tasks). I was also given a safe word by my mom and she taught me of all the things I needed to know about the dangers I could face, so that I was capable of taking care of myself and was able to stay safe in case I ever found myself in a situation without a safe person.

While I (thankfully) never had to use these skills in a real life situation, I would have been completely prepared to cope and keep myself safe if I were to ever find myself in an unsafe situation away from my parents. That's why I have been working hard to create The Be Safe Activity Book. I want all kids to have the skills and knowledge that I had growing up, as it will keep them safe from the scary world in which we live in.

The Be Safe Activity Book is dedicated to my beautiful grandma, Jean McIntee.

After having two kids of my own, that's when I truly realized how scary the world is. I mean, the only thing I do now when I step outside is constantly watch out for threats-it's exhausting! As parents, we want to protect our kids as best as possible, for as long as possible. Unfortunately, as much as we don't like it, we cannot always be there to keep our kids safe. The next best thing is to prepare them for all kinds of situations they may find themselves in, so that even when you aren't around you have the peace of mind that your child will be able to proceed wisely and make smart decisions.

What is a safe word?

a safe word is a word only you and your child know. If your child has to go with someone they don't usually go with, then this is when you would utilize your safe word. Your child is to ask the adult what their safe word is, the adult will reply with the safe word you gave them. This will help your child differentiate between actual strangers with bad intentions versus strangers to them, but people you trust.

Can I have a refund if I'm not happy with my product?

All sales on custom orders are final and no refunds will be issued out.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, do not hesitate to contact us so that we can come up with solution that works for you!

What age are your books for?

I don’t like to base my books for specific ages as I believe that doesn’t correspond well with a child’s skill level. All children are different and learn at different paces. Parents know their child best and can decide what version of the book, as well as the layout, that they think is most beneficial for their child.

How do I receive my order? Pickup/Delivery**

Your order will be completed within 2 weeks from the date your payment was received. Once you are notified that your order is complete, pickup or delivery will be scheduled then. Pickup can be arranged any time. Delivery day falls on the last weekend of each month (will vary from Saturday to Sunday)

Delivery within Niagara Falls and Thorold is a flat rate of $7, St. Catharines and Welland is a flat rate of $15. Rates for delivery located outside of the listed cities will vary. If your order is completed and you have requested delivery, your order will be delivered on the next delivery day.

IF YOU REQUEST DELIVERY, keep in mind that while your order is guaranteed to be completed within 2 weeks from the order date, that does not mean you will receive it within the 2 weeks. If your order is complete 2.5 weeks before delivery day, no arrangements for an earlier delivery can be accommodated and you will have to wait until then unless you can schedule pickup for earlier.

What are your payment options?

We accept e-transfers and cash.

If you are paying with cash, payment is due before your order can be started and completed.
